The Bridge

This was super-challenging and really fun to work on.  We were asked to create promos for a show that dealt with a mysterious killer, a mismatched pair of detectives from two different countries, and the complex cultural disparity at the Jaurez – El Paso border.

The more we tried to say, the more cliché things started to sound.  Luckily, we were working with Stephanie Gibbons and John Varvi at FX and they’re not afraid to try cool stuff.

Mucho props to my co-CD & co-writer, Matt Hubball.  We put together a deck of scripts, animatics, and lofty ideas… FX liked ‘em and they let us do our thing.
