We also had a really cool “Shaft”-inspired spot: “Who’s the man with all the moves, that the ladies can’t resist?” “Smart!” “Yeah, he’s one baaad mutha–” “Hush your mouth!” “Just talkin’ ’bout Smart.” Et cetera. The client loved it, but it ultimately got killed somewhere in the upper echelon of the Warner Bros. Unimanginarium.
